McKool Smith represented i2 Technologies in a patent infringement claim against Germany's SAP AG and its United States subsidiary SAP America Inc. The lawsuit asserted that SAP had infringed seven patents covering software programs related to supply chain planning, electronic negotiation, collaboration, and available-to-promise product management.  The case settled favorably for i2 Technologies.
