Michael G. McManus

Michael McManus is a principal in the Washington, D.C. office of McKool Smith.  He has extensive experience in patent-based Section 337 litigation before the International Trade Commission and patent infringement litigation in the district courts.

Prior to joining McKool Smith, Mr. McManus was a partner with Adduci, Mastriani & Schaumberg, L.P.  He also served as an attorney-advisor with United States Customs.

Biotech.  Represented major Chinese agricultural feed supplement supplier in a Section 337 patent infringement investigation before the ITC. 

Telecom.  Represented leading handset manufacturer in a Section 337 patent infringement investigation before the ITC.

Semiconductor Packaging.  Represented leading foreign semiconductor packager in Section 337 investigation concerning overseas practice of patented method.

Automotive Aftermarket.  Represented major U.S. manufacturer of automotive aftermarket goods in Section 337 investigation against numerous foreign entities.

Optical Processing.  Represented hi-tech start-up corporation accused of patent infringement action in E.D. Va.
