Daniel Sharp is an associate in the Austin office of McKool Smith. Mr. Sharp focuses his practice on patent litigation. 

Prior to joining McKool Smith, Mr. Sharp served as Law Clerk to the Hon. T. John Ward in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas. Before his clerkship, Mr. Sharp handled intellectual property litigation and technology transactions for law firms in Texas and California, and is licensed to practice law in both states.

Mr. Sharp is a graduate of the University of Texas School of Law, with honors, and he also holds a degree in electrical engineering from the University of Texas in Austin. During law school, Mr. Sharp worked as an associate editor for the Texas Intellectual Property Law Journal.
