Justin Nemunaitis

Justin Nemunaitis is an Associate in the Dallas office of McKool Smith. Mr. Nemunaitis is experienced with all aspects of patent litigation. His work includes the development of invalidity and infringement analyses related to patents covering high speed data channel communications, telephone routing networks, and oil and gas-related technologies. He has attended various court hearings and successfully briefed and argued a number of disputes regarding claim construction, summary judgment, and venue transfer.
Prior to joining McKool Smith, he served as a Judicial Clerk for the Honorable John Love, United States Magistrate Judge for the Eastern District of Texas. While in law school, Mr. Nemunaitis served as a Senior Editor on Law Review and as the Executive Editor of the Seventh Circuit Review.
Representative Matters
Ericsson v. D-Link, et al. Represents Ericsson as plaintiff in a patent infringement suit in the Eastern District of Texas.
MOSAID v. Dell, et al. Represents MOSAID as plaintiff in a patent infringement suit in the Eastern District of Texas.
i2 v. Oracle Represented i2 in a patent infringement suit against Oracle involving supply chain management software. Both i2 and Oracle asserted multiple patents in the action. Oracle settled following the pretrial conference.
Weatherford v. Halliburton Energy Services Represents Halliburton and General Plastics & Composites as defendants in a patent infringement suit brought by Weatherford involving advanced composite downhole tool technology.
