Chris Harrington is a Senior Counsel in the Dallas office of McKool Smith.
Mr. Harrington served as a corporal in the U.S. Army prior to attending law school. He was part of the national championship team in the American Inns of Court Mock Trial Competition in 1992, and served as the University of San Diego’s Honor Court Preliminary Examiner.
Representative Matters
Lockheed Inc. v. Aerobotics. Mr. Harrington represented Lockheed in a patent infringement matter concerning non-destructive testing technology used to evaluate the structural integrity of aircraft.
Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors of Enron Corp. v. Fastow. Mr. Harrington is part of a team working on behalf of Enron’s unsecured creditors against various defendants close to the Enron collapse.
Ericsson Inc. v. Qualcomm Inc. Mr. Harrington represented Ericsson in patent infringement litigation over which party owned the rights to certain next-generation cellular phone technology.
RadioShack Corp. In Radio Shack v. AirTouch Cellular, Mr. Harrington represented AirTouch Cellular in a business dispute over the scope and enforceability of various sales and marketing agreements.
Medtronic AVE. Mr. Harrington represented AVE in a business dispute over the sale of assets and intellectual property relating to the use of stents as a form of treatment for heart conditions.
Affiliated Computers Services Inc. Mr. Harrington represented Affiliated Computer Services in a business dispute over the administration and distribution of health benefits.
Johnston v. Cunningham. Mr. Harrington represented the estate of one of the Luby’s restaurant founders in a dispute over the ownership of certain trust assets.
Hicks, Muse, Tate and Furst Equity Fund IV, L.P. Mr. Harrington represented Hicks, Muse, Tate and Furst in a business dispute involving investments in the oil and gas sector.
