At McKool Smith, we celebrate veterans who’ve proudly served our country. Ahead of Veterans Day, Washington, D.C. Principal Blair Jacobs spoke with Law360 Pulse about his time in the Army and the tremendous impact it had in shaping his legal career.
Before entering private practice, Jacobs was a Captain in the Army and then first-chair counsel with the Department of Justice. During his time as an attorney in the Army, he successfully argued a criminal appeal of a court-marital conviction in front of the Corps of Cadets at West Point as part of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces’ educational traveling sessions.
Jacobs is one of many veterans at McKool Smith who’ve chosen law as their second careers. They represent our commitment to recognize the many contributions veterans have made in our country and the significant impact their military experience has in the legal industry.
