DALLAS – Accomplished trial lawyer Rosemary Snider, a Principal in the Dallas office of McKool Smith, has been named one of the state’s top women lawyers in the inaugural list of “Winning Women” published by Texas Lawyer.

The “Winning Women” listing recognizes outstanding trial and appellate lawyers who have a track record of success in high-stakes, bet-the-company cases. The exclusive listing appears in the August 22, 2011, edition of Texas Lawyer.

Ms. Snider is a courtroom veteran who has appeared in state and federal courts throughout Texas and across the United States. She focuses her practice on evidence, procedure, and the development of effective jury charges in complex civil litigation.  Ms. Snider has played an important role in many of McKool Smith’s most high-profile trials, and has helped the firm secure more National Law Journal “Top 100 Verdicts” than any other law firm during the past five years.

“I’m honored to be included among this group of phenomenal attorneys,” Ms. Snider said. “My colleagues at McKool Smith deserve much of the credit for this honor based on their unwavering support for me and my practice during the past 15 years.”

Ms. Snider was the first attorney to be recognized as the Texas Trial Lawyer of the Year by the Texas chapters of the American Board of Trial Advocates (TEX-ABOTA).  She and the 19 other attorneys selected to the “Winning Women” list will be honored at a luncheon held at the Belo Mansion in downtown Dallas on Sept. 30.

With more than 130 litigators working across offices in New York, Washington, D.C. and Texas, McKool Smith has established a reputation as one of America’s leading trial firms. The firm has been recognized by The National Law Journal and VerdictSearch for winning more “Top 100 Verdicts” than any other U.S. law firm during the past five years. McKool Smith represents leading clients across a broad range of practice areas, including complex commercial litigation, intellectual property, bankruptcy, and white collar defense.
