The article discusses the ongoing trade secrets lawsuit between Apple and OpenAI, alleging former Apple employees shared confidential information as OpenAI prepared to enter the consumer device market and examines how this dispute could lead to more trade secret litigation between technology companies. Avery says "we might see more lawsuits if other companies follow OpenAI's gambit and decide to go into new markets like handhelds by trying to attract experienced employees from entrenched competitors like Apple, Samsung, and Microsoft."
