Dallas principal Ted Stevenson has been awarded the International Law Office (ILO) and Lexology 2014 Client Choice Award for Texas Patent Litigation. In addition to Mr. Stevenson’s individual recognition, McKool Smith received the law firm Client Choice Award in Texas.

Mr. Stevenson is a trial lawyer and registered patent attorney who has focused on patent cases for more than 20 years. Last year, Mr. Stevenson served as lead trial counsel for Summit 6 in securing a $15 million patent infringement verdict against Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. and Samsung Telecommunications America, Inc. The final judgment ordered an additional $1.8 million in prejudgment interest for a total award of $16.8 million.
