Overview

Raphaël Chabaneix is an associate in the Dallas office of McKool Smith. His practice focuses on commercial and intellectual-property litigation. He has represented universities and corporations in patent-enforcement proceedings and licensing negations regarding innovations in the semiconductor, wireless-communications and biomedical sectors. Prior to joining McKool Smith, Raphaël practiced with several national and international firms.

Raphaël has extensive experience acting on behalf of corporations and sovereigns in international disputes. He is fluent in French and holds law degrees from the Georgetown University Law Center, Paris Comparative Law Institute (Panthéon-Assas) and Sorbonne Law School. Raphaël earned his engineering degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He is a member of the IEEE Eta Kappa Nu engineering honor society.
