Overview

Brayden “Brady” Burns is an associate in McKool Smith’s Houston Office. Prior to joining the firm and during law school, he spent nearly five years preparing and prosecuting more than 200 utility patent applications. His prior work covered a range of technologies, including artificial intelligence, cloud and distributed computing, networking, and data storage systems.  

During law school, Brady served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Charles R. Eskridge III of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas and as a research assistant to an intellectual property professor. 

Brady earned his law degree from the University of Houston Law Center and holds a B.S. in Engineering Science with an emphasis in Electrical Engineering from Trinity University. Brady was also a member of Trinity University’s Baseball Team.
