Brianna Messina is an associate in McKool Smith's New York office. Brianna is a versatile litigator with a wide range of experience. She joins McKool smith after a successful internship with a top New York firm where she worked on matters related to securities litigation, the New York False Claims Act, and employment law class actions. She additionally completed an internship with the Honorable Nitza I. Quiñones Alejandro of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, during which she helped draft memorandum opinions and orders for dispositive motions.
While in law school, Brianna served as an articles editor for the University of Pennsylvania Law Review, as well as a teaching assistant for an Evidence & Trial Practice course. She was the Academic & Mentoring Co-Chair for the Latinx Law Students Association, and a competitor for the Penn Law Mock Trial Team.
Brianna also served as a Pro Bono Advocate for the Custody and Support Assistance Clinic during law school. There, she worked with Philadelphia Legal Assistance to aid community members with family court matters.
