Eleanor Hudson Callaway is an associate at McKool Smith’s Washington, D.C. office. Eleanor’s practice focuses on patent litigation and complex commercial disputes. She’s represented both plaintiffs and defendants in patent infringement matters across a wide range of technology fields, including wireless communications and web-based tools. Her experience includes representing clients in litigation related to standard-essential patents subject to FRAND obligations. Eleanor has also served on secondment at Ericsson, assisting in-house counsel in multiple patent infringement actions at the International Trade Commission.
Eleanor joined McKool Smith in 2020 after a successful internship at a top Wall Street firm. While in law school, Eleanor was executive editor of the Texas Review of Entertainment and Sports Law, staff editor of The Review of Litigation, and a WestLaw student representative. Prior to law school, Eleanor worked as an Honors Paralegal in the Bureau of Competition at the Federal Trade commission where she gained experience in federal antitrust investigations and injunctions.
