Elisa Lee is an associate in McKool Smith's New York office. She represents corporate policyholders in a variety of complex insurance recovery litigation matters. Prior to joining the firm, Elisa was an assistant corporation counsel at the New York City Law Department, where she drafted and argued motions in court, conducted and defended depositions, and interviewed and determined legal representation for New York City employees, among other tasks. She was also a judicial intern to the Honorable Heidi M. Pasichow in the Superior Court of the District of Columbia.
While attending law school, Elisa was a Thurgood Marshall Scholar and received the President's Volunteer Service Award for volunteering 316 hours of pro bono service. She was also the managing editor of The George Washington International Law Review and a Van Vleck Constitutional Moot Court Competition participant.
