John Yang is an associate in McKool Smith's Washington, D.C. office. He focuses on intellectual property and commercial litigation.

Prior to attending law school, John spent time as a postdoctoral researcher for the U.S. Army Institute of Surgical Research. He has experience in drug discovery and has worked in the areas of organic chemistry, molecular biology, analytical chemistry, and pharmacokinetics.
