Overview

Philip O. “Tripper” Warlick III is an associate in McKool Smith's Dallas office. Tripper earned his law degree from Texas A&M University School of Law, graduating in the top of his class, with a concentration in federal litigation.

During law school, Tripper served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Sean D. Jordan of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas and as a research assistant to Professor Chris Odinet. He also served on the Texas A&M Law Review as a member of the editorial board.

Before beginning his legal career, Tripper worked as a software engineer at Capital One, where he developed applications related to data analytics and cybersecurity. He holds a B.S. in Commerce and Business Administration, cum laude, with a major in economics and a minor in computer science from the University of Alabama, where he was a Presidential Scholar.
