Overview

Tyler Freeman is an associate in McKool Smith’s Dallas office. Prior to joining the firm, Tyler served as a law clerk to the Honorable Terry R. Means and the Honorable Mark T. Pittman in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas.

While attending law school, Tyler advocated on behalf of indigent defendants as a student attorney in SMU’s Criminal Clinic and interned with Judge Means for multiple semesters. In addition, he was involved in the Board of Advocates at SMU, where he attained the distinction of Master Level Advocate through his involvement in moot court.

In his free time, Tyler volunteers as a coach of one of SMU’s moot court teams.
