Mary Katherine Scott is an Associate in McKool Smith's Dallas office. Mary Katherine earned her J.D. from SMU Dedman School of Law.
During law school, Mary Katherine served as a Judicial Extern to the Honorable Irma C. Ramirez of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. She also served as Chief of the SMU First Amendment Clinic, where she drafted a Section 1983 complaint, the right-of-access claims for a summary judgment motion, and portions of a Fifth Circuit amicus brief, and argued in Texas state court against a special exception.
She earned her undergraduate degree in Telecommunication Media Studies from Texas A&M University.
