McKool Smith won a complete defense verdict for AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Ericsson, and Nokia on August 26, 2026. A jury in the Eastern District of Texas rejected every claim brought by ASUS Technology Licensing, Innovative Sonic, and Celerity IP, awarding none of the $436 million sought. Nicholas Mathews and Warren Lipschitz led the trial team for the defendants.
