Dallas Principal Rachael Jones provided commentary in Global Investigations Review's article, "DOJ hiring wave of lawyers at Texas border." The article discusses a recent surge in assistant U.S. attorney job openings in the Southern District of Texas. Rachael highlights that the surge in job openings could be to provide assistance to a trade fraud task force, and says that corporations are, "going to want to take into account the deterrent value of any prosecution."
Rachael served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Northern District of Texas from 2015 to 2025 and was named Deputy Chief of the Criminal Division in 2024. In that role, she supervised federal prosecutors, helped manage the division’s hiring and budget, and maintained an active caseload involving complex federal criminal matters.
