McKool Smith is a finalist for The American Lawyer “National Boutique/Specialty Litigation Department of the Year.”  All finalists will be celebrated at a gala on November 13, 2025, in New York City.

McKool Smith was selected based on recent noteworthy achievements across multiple practice areas. These include a historic $1.4 billion settlement for the State of Texas in its landmark case against Meta Platforms; a $192 million jury verdict for Mojo Mobility in a patent infringement suit against Samsung, and two major wins for Netlist: a $118 million jury verdict against Samsung and a $445 million jury verdict against Micron Technology. The firm also represented several companies before the International Trade Commission, securing global settlements for clients Ericsson in its dispute with Lenovo and Nokia in its case against Amazon. In addition, McKool Smith obtained a Federal Circuit victory on behalf of ParkerVision, reviving a $173 million verdict in its patent infringement suit against Qualcomm.
