An Iowa federal judge granted summary judgment to McKool Smith's client, window and door manufacturer Pella Corporation, ruling that Liberty Mutual Insurance must cover Pella's defense costs in a sample of product liability suits against it, noting that faulty workmanship that gives rise to water damage is indeed a covered "occurrence" under state law.
