The article discusses how for several years the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has been under pressure to make the post-grant proceedings under the America Invents Act more evenhanded toward patent owners and asks if the pilot program and recent PTAB decisions lead to an increase in the number, and success, of motions to amend.
