Overview

Gabe DeJong is an Associate in McKool Smith's Dallas office. He earned his J.D. from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law, where he was a Dean’s Scholarship recipient and an active member of the Corporate Law Association, Intellectual Property Organization, Board of Advocates, and the Dallas Bar Association. Gabe also served as a Judicial Extern for the Hon. Jeremy D. Kernodle in the Eastern District of Texas.

Before attending law school, he served as a U.S. Air Force Major and pilot, holding leadership positions that included Evaluator Pilot, Flying Squadron Director of Operations with NATO, and Acquisitions Section Chief overseeing a $180 million munitions procurement budget. Gabe earned an M.B.A. from Oklahoma State University and a B.S. in Aeronautical Engineering from the United States Air Force Academy.
