Overview

Brittany Zak is an Associate in McKool Smith's New York office. Brit’s practice focuses on complex commercial litigation.

Before joining McKool Smith, Brit served as a law clerk to the Honorable Joel M. Cohen in the New York Supreme Court, Commercial Division, a specialized branch of New York’s trial court that handles complex commercial disputes.

Brit earned their J.D. from New York University School of Law, where they gained experience in direct legal services through their work with the HIV Law Society and the SDNY Legal Clinic for Pro Se Litigants. During law school, Brit contributed to legal scholarship on Fourth Amendment issues concerning artificial intelligence and led classes on related topics for incarcerated persons on Rikers Island.
