Overview
Clara Bourget is an Associate in McKool Smith's Los Angeles office, where her practice focuses on intellectual property proceedings in district courts as well as complex commercial litigation.
While at the University of California, Irvine School of Law, Clara was the outreach director for the Mock Trial team, a 1L representative for First-Generation Professionals, and an Associate Editor for the Law Review Journal. Her legal experience includes clinical courses with the Community and Economic Development Clinic. Clara was also a Research Assistant to Professors Rachel Moran and Summer Kim.
As a graduate student at the University of Toronto, Clara conducted research on the neuroinflammatory response following neonatal stroke, and served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. During this time, Clara presented her findings at notable conferences, and authored publications in scientific journals. As an undergraduate at the University of Toronto, Clara gained research experience in stem cell biology, cognition, and psychiatry.
