Overview
Colin Hickl is an Associate in McKool Smith’s Dallas office. Prior to joining the firm, he served as a law clerk to the Hon. Jeremy D. Kernodle of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
While in law school, Colin externed for the Hon. Sean D. Jordan of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas. He also worked as a research assistant to Professor C. Paul Rogers, providing research related to antitrust law. In addition, Colin participated in the Criminal Justice Clinic at SMU, where he gained courtroom experience such as presenting oral argument on and winning a motion to suppress in state court.
