Overview

Kenneth Scott is an associate in McKool Smith's New York office. He is a technology litigator who represents plaintiffs and defendants, with experience in software, mobile devices, and wireless communications. He has briefed and argued dispositive issues at every stage of litigation, including trial. Kenneth's pro bono work includes representing clients in real estate and landlord-tenant disputes, as well as asylum seekers in immigration proceedings.

While attending the University of Texas School of Law, he served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Rolando Olvera of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas. He also served as Submissions Editor for the Texas Intellectual Property Law Journal, as TQ (Teaching Quizmaster) for the School’s legal writing courses, and as a research assistant in constitutional law to Professor Larry Sager.

Before law school, Kenneth worked as an engineer in construction and aerospace research. He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, where he was a Whaley Scholar.
