Overview
Steve is Senior Counsel in McKool Smith’s Dallas office. His practice focuses on patent litigation, including traditional and Hatch-Waxman litigation, from pre-suit counseling through post-grant proceedings, trial, and appeals. Steve is a go-to experienced advocate called on to clearly and effectively convey difficult technologies and concepts to judge, jury, or other stakeholders. Prior to joining the firm, Steve held legal positions at several national law firms. He has represented a diverse group of clients in both federal district and appellate courts.
Steve’s work has led to recognition by his peers. For the second year in a row, Steve was nominated to The Honorable Barbara M.G. Lynn American Inn of Court, whose mission is to foster excellence in professionalism, ethics, civility, and legal skills and is dedicated to intellectual property law.
