On Monday, January 11, 2021, McKool Smith secured a significant ruling on behalf of Ericsson barring Samsung from enforcing a Chinese anti-suit injunction that would limit Ericsson’s ability to have its FRAND dispute over patents essential to the 4G and 5G wireless standards to be heard in the United States.
