Nick practices in McKool Smith's Dallas office, focusing on intellectual property and complex commercial litigation. He has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in patent infringement matters across a wide range of technology fields, including wireless communications, medical devices, speech coding, and video compression. Nick also has significant experience handling matters alleging competitive violations in patent licensing related to standard essential patents subject to FRAND or RAND obligations.
Nick is also registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office and has experience prosecuting patents and representing clients in inter partes review proceedings.
