McKool Smith is pleased to announce the promotion of three attorneys to Principals in the firm's Los Angeles and New York offices, effective January 1, 2021.

Brett Bissett is a principal in the Los Angeles office. His practice focus is within the Insurance Recovery Practice Group with experience in insurance coverage litigation and counseling on insurance-related issues related to various types of coverage, including commercial general liability, directors' and officers' liability, professional liability, cyber liability, and property claims.
Kevin Schubert is a principal in the New York office. His practice is focused on patent matters, and he has represented firm clients in every phase of patent litigation in courts around the country. He is an active speaker and author and co-authored articles for Law360 that were among the most read Intellectual Property articles in the last two years.
Christine Woodin is a principal in the Los Angeles office. Christine’s practice focuses primarily on intellectual property and antitrust litigation. Christine has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in patent litigation covering a wide variety of technologies, including wireless communications, computer software, medical devices, and pharmaceuticals. She also has significant experience handling matters related to the licensing of standard essential patents subject to F/RAND obligations.
