Overview

Kerry Schonwald is a trial lawyer who concentrates her practice on sophisticated commercial litigation in both state and federal courts, including commercial arbitration, personal injury, medical malpractice, fiduciary litigation, and partnership disputes. Kerry has a wide range of experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in labor and employment issues, business torts, contract disputes, and other complicated commercial disputes. Her past cases involved clients in a variety of industries including commercial real estate, oil and gas, securities, automotive industry, wind farms, healthcare, and film and television.

In 2005 and 2006, Kerry served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable W. Royal Furgeson, Jr. in the Western District of Texas. She gained extensive experience and perspective from the other side of the bench assisting Judge Furgeson.
