Principals Steve Rizzi and Ramy Hanna were included among AmLaw's "Litigators of the Week" for winning affirmance of a patent win for client Advanced Semiconductor Engineering Inc. The Federal Circuit earlier this month upheld a decision by the Patent Trial and Appeal Board in an inter partes review nixing seven claims of a patent held by rival Bell Semiconductor covering methods for making semiconductor devices. The PTAB found the claims unpatentable.
