McKool Smith sends its best wishes to you and your family during these difficult and uncertain times. As we continue to monitor and learn more about the spread of COVID-19, the health and safety of our employees—and our commitment to our clients—remain the firm’s top priorities.

Our business continuity plans are in place to ensure that clients continue to receive outstanding services from McKool Smith’s team. The firm’s technology platforms allow our attorneys and support staff to remain connected to our secure systems to seamlessly focus on client matters. Also, our attorneys and business professionals continue to be accessible by telephone, email, and video to communicate with clients without delay or disruption. We are also closely monitoring clients’ court schedules and case-specific court orders that have been impacted by coronavirus-related concerns and are advising clients accordingly.

To respond to this rapidly changing situation, we have taken several steps to protect our employees and their families. We have asked all members of the firm to work from home and we continually share key health guidance with our employees on the importance of social distancing and proper handwashing to limit their exposure to the virus. We have also canceled participation at large meetings and have strongly advised against unnecessary travel.

On behalf of the entire McKool Smith family, we hope that you, your loved ones, and your business colleagues remain healthy and safe during these challenging times.

For additional information about COVID-19, get the latest report from the Centers for Disease Control at cdc.gov or your local health department website.

Best Regards,

David Sochia  │ Managing Principal
