Overview

Blake Burley is an associate in McKool Smith's Dallas office. He is a versatile litigator with a wide range of experience. Blake previously clerked for the Honorable Judge Brantley Starr of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas. Prior to joining the firm, Blake received extensive experience in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas as a judicial intern for both the Honorable Judge Amos L. Mazzant III and the Honorable Judge Sean D. Jordan of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas. He also worked as a law clerk for the Texas Public Policy Foundation.

Blake attended The University of Texas School of Law where he excelled academically and served on the editorial board of the Texas Review of Law and Politics as the administrative editor. While receiving his undergraduate degree at The University of Texas at Austin, Blake held several roles within student government and other organizations, including membership in the honorary student organization the Silver Spurs.
