Washington, DC principal Nick Matich recently joined a group of authors who issued a statement on behalf of the nonpartisan Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) objecting to new policy guidelines from the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice that will lessen the enforceability of standard essential patents (SEPs) and serve to disincentivize innovation in the U.S., particularly by small- and medium-sized enterprises.
