McKool Smith client Vocalife will continue its case against Amazon within the Eastern District of Texas. Law360 reports that Chief District Judge Rodney Gilstrap entered an order denying requests from Amazon to have their lawsuit transferred from the EDTX to the Northern District of California. Vocalife alleges that Amazon's Echo smart speakers infringe a patent covering microphone systems.
