Law360 reports on November 15, 2019, U.S. District Judge Rodney Gilstrap issued a order stating Huawei must pay attorney fees for its $13 million patent infringement loss to PanOptis Patent Management LLC. Judge Gilstrap stated "This conduct reveals a mindset intent on gaming our legal system for an immediate advantage while at the same time subverting the very purpose of the courts to pursue justice over the long run." 

PanOptis Patent Management LLC is represented by  Sam Baxter, Lindsay Martin Leavitt, Steve Pollinger, Ted Stevenson, Jennifer Truelove, and associates Christine Woodin, Kevin Hess, and Marcus Rabinowitz.
